October research update: scalar calculation repaired; independent trace agreement at r=6M under an empirical numerical allowance.
A narrow CNG window pass, a narrow published-curve comparison, and a Hadamard derivation candidate are separate from that trace check and from full tensor validation. GATE = NO.

Unseen window ω ∈ [10.40, 10.90], ε₁ = 37.5 fixed. Not global asymptotics.
Digitized published curves agree at four radii. The chain label stays invalid. A separate derivation matches a, b, and e and does not validate E.
Historical 20 September 2026 discovery freeze: 51/51 at r=6M, ω∈[9.8,10.3], substantial evidence for predeclared ε₁=37.5. As written that day, the confirmatory window had not been computed. On 21 September that window received a narrow pass. Discovery grades D=FAIL and F=CRITERIA_GAP remain. Global structure is not established.
Closed 19 September 2026 analytic audit. After local subtraction, F_reg is not expected to decay before a generalized integral. Sparse ω=10 and 12 passed the angular gate, and |F_reg^tt| grew. Global mixed-structure confirm is FALSE. This is not the current frontier. The current self-cancellation operator is the average of the two shifts; the 19 September sheet wrote the unnormalized sum.
As of 9 October 2026 the live result is a repaired massless scalar trace at r=6M under a combined empirical allowance. That is not the 20 September discovery freeze, and it is not an independently validated stress tensor. The 21 September CNG window is a narrow pass for this pipeline only. The angular gate below is earlier instrument history.
B1 unlocks trust in the instrument, not belief in the hypothesis.
B1 does not establish an Astral Gate. B1 asks whether the numerical instrument we intend to use for much harder spacetime questions can correctly reproduce a known quantum stress-energy benchmark.
During independent validation of the B1 Schwarzschild Hartle–Hawking RSET engine, we isolated a potential overall-sign inconsistency in a displayed mixed-time derivative formula. Three independent internal derivations recover an overall PLUS mode contribution under our reading of the stated conventions, whereas the displayed TBO Eq. 18 / analogous ABOT Eq. 16 carries an overall MINUS. The result is externally reviewable, not confirmed. Public archaeology did not determine which sign was actually used in the private numerical implementation that generated the published tables. This lane is paused pending external clarification.
